What these tools do
Each tool answers one question about tonight’s sky or the next launch, for the place you choose and in your own time zone. The calculations run in your browser with Astronomy Engine, an open source astronomy library tested against NASA JPL’s Horizons system, and the live data comes from official sources such as NASA and NOAA. Your location stays in your browser.
New tools for eclipses, a map of the night sky and meteor showers are being added to this page as they are ready.
